Siddhānta — the sign itself
P Pisces is the dissolving mystic — feeling widening past its own edges. It is the twelfth of the twelve signs — a water sign held in the mutable mode, ruled by Jupiter, the expansive, benevolent principle — faith, growth, largeness of view. It is a negative sign: it draws its energy in — receptive and self-contained, meeting the world by taking it in.
Its element is the ground of its nature. As a water sign, Pisces works on the astral plane of feeling — emotion, memory and the tides of the inner life — a temper sensitive, sympathetic and receptive, reading a room before a word is said, which under strain can run to being flooded by feeling until the shore of the self is lost.
